Purpose and requirement
Banks are very critical financial institutions therefore if not well taken monitored they end up
collapsing and amanagerial set of individuals are likely to face the wrath of stakeholders in
the particular bank(Davies ,2018). Therefore, the intrigue behind the coming up with an idea
to enhance transparency and appropriate leadership in the sector will require a leadership
system that fully helps in the automation of the processes of leadership in the financial sector.
Notwithstanding most business aspects are attributed to the ability to make aprofit with a
well-designed system that enhances transparency. The system subsystem has also a very
profound module that enhances the surveillance of employees and notices employees who are
idle and the hardworking ones and kicks out those who are lagging behind that financial
institution behind. This is the core purpose of the design of this system is articulated so that
the bank sector can run smoothly.
Requirement.
The leadership requirement is broadly categorized into main requirements namely functional
and non-functional requirements.
Therefore, the requirement which is exhibited by the system is articulated with the user needs
in our leadership system we want the following issue to be enacted so that the running of our
financial institution to work effectively so that the business can grow and the competitive
advantage which is required so that it can outsmart other business at all times. Therefore, a
very effective leadership system ought to be designed to accomplish all this information we
are intending to have and achieve.
The following are some of the functional requirements which need to be articulated so that
best management practices can be achieved.
(i) The system should provide a general report for weak profit and loss reports
accumulated.
(ii) The system should synchronize various departments to establish the individual
who reports working late this will be enhanced by recording the time staff reports
and leaves the banks.
(iii) All 24/7 surveillance of staff and outsiders to identify idle staff and summons
them for idleness to increase the productivity of the bank. Outsiders acts as a
threat hence we will enhance the productivity of the business.
(iv) The system should enhance the payment of employees which reduces inaccuracies
and embezzlement in the bank hence settling for less in the institution.
Non-functional requirements.
These are requirements that are implementable or codified but they enhance the
functionalities of the systems at all times(Horkoff, 2019). These include and are not limited to
the followings.
(i)Efficiency: Efficient leadership should be effective in enhancing the operations of the
activities which normally take place.
(ii) They reinforce new skill artifacts into the job arena: In reality, anew managerial system
impacts new skills to the employees therefore he or she becomes ardent with the new skills.
(iii) Managerial system helps top management identify priority areas for resource allocations.
(iv)They enhance immediate learning of results: Managerial system enhances immediate
response to the system hence streamlining the business performance.
Nature of the system
The nature of the system is abroad spectrum that needs to be addressed to ensure that our
system is well articulated and addresses the aforementioned. Therefore, depending on the
nature of the activities we need to articulate we are well informed. Therefore, in a bid to
articulate the nature of our system four thematics will be addressed to enhance understanding
and the kind of business we are pursuing.
Table 1: Dimensions of nature
Dimension System designs considerations
Physical  They should exhibit ahigh degree of
standardization and conformity to
avoid variations between human and
machine-related errors. For instance,
many counting machines in the
banking sector should be very
accurate and many tallying done
should conform with the manual
counting with the bank, teller, or any
other authorized by the system.
 Ease of use and maintenance: The
system infrastructure for our system
should be easier to use so that
leadership aspects can be articulated
well as required. This will enhance
and increase productivity at all
times. Maintenance is another aspect
of physical articulation, if the nature
to be designed is not maintainable it
will cost the institution huge or alot
of money but have no overall effects
on the management.
 Scalability: Physical automated
systems should anticipate change
either they have become obsolete or
have become legacy.
Information  Human interventions are
prerequisites while undertaking
major decisions.
 The human mind is considered akey
element in system design.
Creative  Creativity is deemed to dominate
this kind of system.
 Deemed to operate optimally when
standardization and specialty are low
Custom/bespoke  This kind of system sole is
dependent on creativity and
innovations.
 Audit of the system is one of the key
pillars of the system in place.
 Its structure can have efficiency and
effectiveness.
Having summarized the aforementioned nature of the system the leadership system to be
developed will incorporate the bespoke/custom nature of the system because the financial
system for managerial and leadership roles require alot of innovations and creativity, regular
check and audits to verify if they fit to serve and they should be efficient. Therefore, when all
those considerations are undertaken custom/bespoke nature of the system falls under that
category well.
Theories and concepts
The banking scenario will be solicited to be among the most effective and precedent
environment or industries which require salient and ample leadership design (Athanasopoulou
et al., 2017) . At this point, good leadership management should be informative and
transformative at all costs and dimensions. Therefore, in our design, we will apply
transformative leadership which is necessitated by the kind of service which will be offered
in the industry. The system design of the system will also follow suit in underpinning various
requirements to enhance that successful and valuable system which is consistent with the
purpose and goals of the environment being discussed in this paper.
Transformative leadership will enhance the design of the leadership system which includes
and is not limited to the following aspects.
(i) Efficient search and generation of reports: managerial systems ought to be
efficient in the manner in which they articulate their information.in the purpose
and requirement, this was well justified that one of the requirements is to ensure
efficient and salient report generation for key decision making. Bespoke or custom
system are innovations oriented therefore their designs is very transformative.
Therefore, in view of transformative leadership, the managerial system will be at a
point to articulate the corresponding concept and information.
(ii) Priorities management: Transformative leadership enhances the management to
articulate their priorities right and hence focus on more lucrative chunks in the
business sector hence generating huge profit margins. Ideally, a well-designed
managerial system is likely to help management undertake key aspects according
to their priorities. This will enhance transformative leadership in the banking
sectors which are intended to articulate.
(iii) They catapult the business in hand and makes them competitive: Transformative
leadership ensures there is effective and candid communication between a
different participant in enhancing day to day operation of the business (Bank) in
our context. Therefore, with this information system, we intend to partake too
swift information and energies that are worthwhile to be maintained by our
business scenario. Ideally, prudent business service is active and required at all
times. Therefore, such a designed leadership system will catapult different
processes in enhancing proper transformative leadership through the utilization of
the system.
Inspiring examples
Ideas generation are a key concept in any kind of system and leadership system are not
exceptional. Benchmarks are important in a bid to enhance and articulate various concept
which enhances the development of a system which are salient and effective(McClean &
Collins, 2018). In the fullness of time, individuals are effective and enhance various concepts
and phenomena areas have been undertaken to establish and identify what key characteristics
the benchmarked system exhibits and what can be brought from them and to give insight on
what has been implemented. This also figures out what can be implemented and what can be
added in the generation of the ideas.
The following are some of the aspects which were adopted from the benchmarked leadership
systems.
Real-time response by the systems: All benchmarked systems were effective in providing any
information which was subjected to them. This was so encouraging in helping us find what
makes their system that responsive.
Accuracy: The accuracy of the system cannot be compromised due to a well-predefined
algorithm. A system with awell-predefined algorithm is salient and salient to use at all times.
This was another aspect that was borrowed and required to be articulated effectively in the
design anticipated to be modeled.
Unique context
All system implementation must have been necessitated and implemented simply because of
specific and key scenarios. Therefore, unique contexts are very clearly intrigues that should
guide the development of any kind of leadership system. For instance, in our banking
scenario context, the development of itis geared toward the following concepts.
(i) High demands for transparency: The issue of handling money is a very serious
and emotive issue. When everybody finds money they start thinking this is their
constant gratification that has just taken place. Ideally, banks’ finances and money
do not belong to individuals who normally work there. It should be noted that
individuals who take salient environments are identifiable and justifiable at all
times. Therefore, in the execution of the various task in the banking environment
transparency and honesty are the key component that needed to be exhibited by
the system. Transparency and honesty in a leadership system can be coined by
designing the modules in the system which gives reports of all amount of money
which been processed by the bankers before undertaking some activities he or she
is being entitled to undertake. The system will compute the balances required and
manifested and generate areport showing all the money has been processed, and
available, and the amount which was assigned to the banker initially. The reports
will enhance the transparency of the data and the systems.
(ii) Needs for appropriate priorities in the banking sectors: System reports help the
established department which is not working fine. A system that is developed and
undertaken effectively can be deemed to be the most system business by
undertaking the issues which are of great concern at all times. Therefore, well
document report can illustrate which branch and low turner over and profit
margins. Therefore, they will help in decision-making. Visualization can be
enhanced all the time hence making work easier. Therefore, if priorities in the
banking sector if misplaced the business will be on the verge of collapsing.
Design principles
Principle Description
Balance  This principle enhances the creation
of value for many users in essence.
The system to be developed will
serve multiple users in aseamless
manner.
 Bankers and users will interactively
interact with the management of the
banks effectively without anyone’s
intervention. Unless very few and
pertinent cases individuals will
undertake this process.
 Service balance in key stakeholders
will be the key aspect that needs to
be undertaken for effective service
delivery.
Congruence  The ability of the system to conform
to and be consistent with each other
and other organizational systems.
 This is another important principle
in banking sectors or industries. All
department devices and organization
needs to be congruent in their
activity implementation. There
should be orthogonality in
department communication in the
system leadership is to be set in
place.
 This will ensure the effective
movement of information from one
point to another.
Convenience  This principle can be seen to
articulate user-friendliness. The
design principles should enable the
user to navigate effectively and with
alot of ease.
 In asituation where there is no ease
in the system, the user ought to find
a mechanism for using the system
effectively. An inconvenient system
in a banking sector might have a
ravaging effect if not well
configured or articulated.
 Simple mistakes in a poorly
designed leadership system have the
effects of creating issues in the
articulation of the business
environment.
Coordination  This refers to leadership system
synchronization to enhance the flow
of information from one department
to another and from one branch to
another. This is beyond the principle
of congruency. Synchronicity is
every effect as the department
operates seamlessly as asingle unit.
 Real-time in communication is a
complete articulation of a good
system design.
 If a system is not well-configured
synchronization and communication
have had an impact as important
priorities in the banking scenario
will not be articulated.
 In design system leadership, this
becomes one of the most key
important pillars in enhancing better
communication in various
departments and avenues.
Elegance  This considers the aspect of dealing
with complexity verse the benefit
that the system is likely to accrue.
 A system that is very salient can be
issued and developed in a very
technical manner and can be
enhanced effectively by the design
in avery ambient way.
 Component ease of use determines
its use. A designed system with less
complexity is enough to generate
salient profit.
 Therefore designer of the banking
leadership system ought to abide by
the elegance principle to enhance its
utility.
Learning  Learnability is the system design
refers to the ability of the system to
anticipate changes in the near future.
A good system design offers room
for reflection and learning from the
loopholes in the system.
 Therefore, awell-designed system
applying this principle will make the
company move forward and enhance
the synchronization of this to ensure
reflection will be made and
addressed in the near future.
Human This refers to the principle of design such
that whoever is interacting with the system
find some happiness and purpose in using
the system.
Therefore, the banking system should be
interactive and users have freedom and joy
in using them. Therefore, such kind of
system is very impactful by bringing the
solution to the system at all times.
Sustainability  This is the ability of the system to
meet user needs at minimum and
threshold costs that do not have an
impact on the user.
 Ideally, abanking system should be
sustainable as they are profit a
making organization. The designed
system models should be sustainable
in terms of failure and other aspects.
System integration
The system integration adjudication integrates well in all sectors of the company in
enhancing information flow at all times(Chong & Diamantopoulos, 2020). The component in
aleadership system ought to communicate effectively and enhance the smooth running and
delivery of services.
The following is how components are integrated using the following modules in our
leadership system (finance system).
Deposit and withdraw submodule: This is an integration module that enhances deposit and
withdrawal from the system. The business will be enhanced in a very salient way which
enhances the security of the flow of transactions from one point to another at all times.
Account opening submodule: This is the module that enhances the opening of the account for
customers who may be willing to have an account in any branch of the bank.
Report visualization and generation submodules: The integration in this is to enhance the
generation of the report which enhances appropriate mechanisms in the business sectors at all
times.
Attendance management submodule: This is the module that fully concentrates on and deals
with the management of attendance of the customers. This management is very effective and
hence enhances transformative leadership due to moral standards at the workplace.
Design
Figure 1: Department integration
The design of some of the departments requires implementation at stake. The applicability of
the designs has been necessitated by the robustness of the system needed to be in place.
These are adepartment that needs to be congruent, and elegant and ensure balancing of the
activities and coordination so as to ensure appropriate leadership transformation.
Figure 2: System interface implementation user interaction.
The use case diagram illustrated above shows the banker and user interacting with the
designed system which is simulated as demonstrated above. Therefore the interaction takes
place simultaneously to ensure their efficiency in service delivery.
